On February 9th, ICO students, residents, and faculty attended the 63rd annual Heart of America Eye Care Congress in Kansas City, Missouri where they presented their research posters and had the chance to network with fellow attendees and eyecare providers.

This year’s event featured a wide variety of current optometric research, including: systemic diseases, anterior and posterior ocular segment issues, contact lenses, instrument integration and optical design, while also featuring specialized classes and top speakers from all over the country.

With the recent unveiling of our state-of-the-art Wesley Research Center, research at ICO has only been growing, and we hope that events like these continue to inspire our students and their research projects.
