Four Years, One Moment

Some very special things happen in four-year cycles: Presidential elections, FIFA World Cups, Olympic games, and a full education from the Illinois College of Optometry. On May 21, 2016, ICO celebrated its 173rd Commencement. The ceremony once again took place in the iconic Rockefeller Chapel at the University of Chicago. The degree of Doctor of Optometry was conferred upon 149 individuals. Many of these new ODs could not believe four years had already passed.
